Maspalomas Carnival 2027: dates, parties and where to stay

Maspalomas has one of the most colourful carnivals in Spain, and the gay scene is right in the middle of it. Expect costumes, music in the streets and a drag queen gala that draws a huge crowd.

What happens

The carnival runs for almost two weeks, with themed nights, concerts and the drag queen gala, one of the highlights. The big Saturday parade closes the festival with floats and dancers through Playa del Inglés.

Good to know

The Yumbo Centre is the place to be at night, and many bars put on carnival shows. The full programme is usually published only a few weeks before, so check back for times.
