When the days get short and grey across Europe, Maspalomas throws a second Pride. Winter Pride packs a week with pool parties, club nights at the Yumbo Centre and a Pride Walk through Playa del Inglés, all under the Canary Islands sun.
What happens
Days are for the pool parties and the beach at the Maspalomas dunes. After dark the crowd moves to the Yumbo Centre, where the gay bars and clubs sit side by side across the floors of one open-air shopping centre. The Pride Walk on the Saturday is the moment the whole week gathers in one place.
Good to know
It is smaller and more relaxed than Maspalomas Pride in May, and the crowd is international, with many regulars who come back every year. Flights and hotels around Playa del Inglés get busy for the week, so book early.
