Sitges Carnival 2027
Two night parades, dozens of floats and the most outrageous costumes on the coast.
Carnival is when Sitges lets loose. For a week in February the town fills with costumes, sequins and feathers, and two night parades turn the streets into one long party.
The two big parades
The Rua de la Disbauxa on Sunday night and the Rua de l'Extermini on Tuesday night are the heart of it: dozens of floats, dancing troupes and drag, rolling through the centre and along the seafront. Crowds start claiming their spot well before the start, so arrive early.
The rest of the week
Carnival opens on the Thursday (Dijous Gras) and ends on Ash Wednesday with the burial of the sardine. In between, the gay bars around Carrer del Primer de Maig run their own costume nights. Bring a costume: you will feel out of place without one.
