One of Europe's biggest Prides: three days of street party and a huge Sunday parade.
ColognePride is one of the biggest Prides in Europe and the moment Germany's gayest city really lets go. Events start on 11 June, and everything leads up to the street party on the final weekend.
What happens
The street party fills the old town from Friday to Sunday, with stages and bars spilling outside. On Sunday comes the CSD parade, which sets off from the Deutzer Brücke and takes over the city centre.
Good to know
Hotels near Heumarkt go first, so book early. Trains from nearby cities are full on parade day, and the area around the route gets very crowded, so arrive well before it starts.
